Horizon Learning Solutions announces the Introduction of Easier Student Log In
MORGANTOWN, WV - August 7, 2006- HLS has introduced a simpler login method for students. Students now access the site http://www.welearnhorizon.com and are redirected to the correct site for doing their homework.
Previously, students had to remember the very long URL of http://www.welearnhorizon.com/q/perception.dll as the URL to log on to the system. The redirection method allows students the opportunity to only have to remember a shorter URL name that is easily recognizable. The redirection method also allows faculty and other administrators access to their URL without having to remember that it is a different URL address. Their link is listed clearly on this page.
"Students no longer have to follow links from an instructor's home page. They can easily remember "welearnhorizon" as the URL and the browser will automatically take them to the correct log-in site." commented Horizon Learning Solutions' President John H. Penn. "This should make the log-in process easier for both students and faculty."
About Horizon Learning Solutions :
Horizon Learning Solutions has been providing the WE_LEARN system for organic chemistry since 2000, serving some 1000 students per year in different universities across the United States. Well over 100,000 questions, answers, and explanations for wrong answers are contained in a master database driven by a QuestionmarkT PerceptionT assessment management system. This robust system has enabled the delivery of organic chemistry materials over the internet, enabling students to learn organic chemistry anywhere and at any time. Available question formats are the standard multiple select questions or students can draw their own structures and have them automatically graded on-online. The viewing of structures in 3D has recently been added. Complete details are available at http://www.we-learn-horizon.com.
